Real Recovery is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 145 Powers Road in Asheville, North Carolina. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Real Recovery. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Real Recovery.
If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Real Recovery, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adolescents, Adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.
The staff members at Real Recovery have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Real Recovery. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.
Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Real Recovery can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

I cannot say enough good things about how Real Recovery changed my son's and my family's life. I researched recovery homes across the US and after talking to the director I knew immediately that this was the place for my son - supportive, encouraging, structured and fun. After years of substance abuse, sadness, distress and anguish, Real Recovery gave my son the foundation and skills to better live in recovery. I especially want to thank Zack and George. Thanks guys!
as a loving, caring parent you throw everything at your child and hope something works. Nothing worked until Alexander attended Real. He is sober over 3 years but what is also just as important he has resumed a fun productive lifestyle without the need for drugs & alcohol in his life.
I went to see my boyfriend's brother here about a month back and everything about it felt warm and inviting. I felt really welcome and there was a sense of comfort for all of the guys living there. It was run professionally and kept up to high standards. I know Real has been a big help to my boyfriend, his brother and their family. Thanks Real Recovery of Asheville, keep up the great work. What you do is truly a blessing!
I came to visit my brother a few months ago and the place was impeccably kept. Felt really comfortable. Those are obviously the aesthetics, I could write a book on how much it helped him and our family. Dealing with addiction is hard on the individual battling it as well as the families. My brother really had a closely-knit network of people to help him get sober thanks to Real. That alone to me is worth all of the stars in the world but five will have to do it. I highly recommend Real Recovery Asheville.
These guys are legit. I've known a couple of friends who've gone through their recovery program and come out totally solid. The issue with alcohol recovery is not just stopping drinking put making the lifestyle changes that cause you not to want to drink in the first place. One of the founders Dana Rider went through recovery himself years ago and he really knows how to help young men through the recovery process. If you've got a friend struggling, I highly recommend these guys.
I am so thankful for Real Recovery. A very good friend of mine battled a with serious addiction problem to both alcohol and drugs for years and after countless attempts at sobriety, finally found Real Recovery. Through the support and expert care of their highly skilled staff, he was able to get his life on track and now enjoys life more than ever. He is sober, happy, healthy and is now able to give back to those that face the same struggles that he did before coming to Real. I am so thankful for this program and can't recommend it highly enough!
