Such an amazing place. I was there in November 2017 and the staff was helpful, nice, willing to listen. I had went to CCS in Kingsport before that and they didnt care about me or my recovery but these people DO. When I was there I finished my detox. I was court ordered to go. My social worker scared me and said since my court date was in the middle of treatment that they were closing the case of i was not there. Well they did anyway. I dod good for a couple of months on my own after detox only and going to NA meetings. Well now I have relapsed and I am praying to God I can get in next week. This weekend I will be working on getting my cartons of cigarettes and having 75 to 100 dollars to take with me. I know the waiting list is long so many people just like me need the help. This time Im staying. Nobody to scare me into not staying. I got my boys back. And they need a sober momma who can get put and spend money on them and cherish life to the fullest with.

I was a client (quite often a difficult patient) at Magnolia Ridge in the summer of 2013. Wow, I have so much gratitude in my heart for ALL the staff who were employed that June-July. My gratitude is coupled with an enormous amount of respect for the program they offered. It is highly structured, so if you are looking for the easier, softer way, Mag Ridge isn't for you. (I thought I was in HELL my first four days there, but by the end of my treatment, I was beginning to feel like Heaven had paid me a visit.) Today, I am the Program Director of an Intensive Outpatient Treatment program for those suffering like I did which is still mind blowing. So many possibilities have and are coming true because I took their suggestions at MR, sometimes while kicking and screaming. The staff encouraged me to pursue my dreams from the very start, beginning with getting and staying clean, and I have. Believe it or not, I am now pursuing my Ph.D in the field of addiction psychology/counseling, and one day will open my own place to help adolescents struggling with this disease. Life hasn't been easy, but I gained the tools at MR necessary to truly face it on its own terms. When doubts surface, and they do from time to time, I am reminded of the smiles and encouraging words I heard daily from Mark and Mark, Val, Megan, Brad, Ms. Sue, Crystal, Kevin and so many others. I can see your faces, just can't remember names. Give me some slack; I was in a lust relationship with Oxycontin for 14 years. It is amazing I can remember my own name. 😎Much love to all of you and a huge thanks for caring. You changed my life FOREVER!!

Absolutely 5 stars. A very close relative was recently a patient at Magnolia Ridge. The staff was always courteous and helpful to the family members. After discharge from inpatient. My relative has had nothing but highest praise for all of the staff. They have called and texted him daily after discharge to check on him. I have had other family members who were treated for addiction with other programs but none compare to the level of care, concern and love that was shown to this family member. Thank you staff for your genuine heart felt care.
